Renette Gabriel is an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) with extensive experience in nursing education and healthcare. She earned her master's degree in nursing with an advanced practice certification as an adult nurse practitioner from Maryville University. She received her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix and an associate degree in nursing from Broward College. Additionally, she holds a certificate in wound care management. Renette's nursing experience encompasses many areas, including ICU, pediatrics and geriatrics, home health, wound care, case management, nursing education, and nursing administration. As a nurse practitioner, she specializes in infectious diseases and has been a consultant in hospital and outpatient settings, showcasing her adaptability. As a nurse practitioner for the Department of Health, she is critical in providing primary care, treating infectious diseases, and advocating for public health initiatives in rural communities. Renette is firmly committed to patient care and education. She has volunteered at several healthcare centers in Broward County, Florida, and in the past, she has worked as a health coach in collaboration with Holy Cross Hospital in South Florida to assist her church community members in managing chronic illnesses such as hypertension and diabetes. Renette is humble and believes in learning from everyone she meets and making others feel special. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, encourages those around her, and celebrates the accomplishments of her students, colleagues, family, and friends as if they were her own.
