Dr. Griff's Story

Dr. Griff is a highly experienced program evaluator, and evaluation methods, learning and development specialist. She has instructional design, training facilitation, educational advising, and knowledge management expertise. With over 25 years of experience in humanitarian administration, a doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership, and master’s in Adult Education and Human Resource Development, she is equipped to improve organizational processes in the United States and Haiti. This includes designing training programs, implementing new learning strategies, and facilitating knowledge sharing through evidence-based programming. She is also a Professional Development Coach for NGOs and institutions in Haiti.

 

Dr. Griff has more than 20 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation. She is skilled in strategic planning and designing scorecards to track and measure institutional effectiveness. Additionally, she has expertise in the theory of change models. Her experience includes direct involvement in these areas.

• Fondasyon Ayiti Limye (2024)

  • Wrote a Strategic Plan and Business Start-up Plan to implement an offshore irrigation company, AquaInnovate, on the island of La Gonave, Haiti.

• Papyrus, USAID -BRANA Smallholder Alliance for Sorghum in Haiti (SMASH) Program (2016)

  • Revised its M and E Plan to develop a matrix refined from existing indicators to match IDB-FOMIN and USAID's Feed the Future Strategy (FTF) indicators to correspond data collection methods compliant with the various donors' requirements.

  • Aligned the new Performance Indicators Response Sheet (PIRS) to the supply chain digital tracking process.

Fluent in English, Haitian-Creole, Spanish and French, Dr. Griff has conducted studies in various countries and areas since 2012. These include Research and Development, Mentoring, Leadership, Education, Social Psychology, Human Rights, Community Development, Agriculture and Agro-business, Food Security, Governmental Policy, Social Justice, Conflict Resolution, Disaster Risk Reduction, Gender-Based Violence, WASH, and overall program effectiveness. She has experience in managing large teams for research and product development, which are multi-sectoral and interdisciplinary. She has also acted as:

• Lead for the UNESCO Nationwide Educational Inclusive Study (2015-2016)

Dr. Griff has successfully coordinated research evaluations funded by USAID. These evaluations were large, multi-sectoral, and interdisciplinary. One example is the NORC Research Technical and Assistance Center (RTAC) Mid-Program Evaluation. Dr. Griff identified participants from the RTAC partner pool in Africa, Asia, and the Latin American Region in this evaluation. Her recent Federal evaluations completed include 1) National Institute of Health (NIH) National Human Genome Research Institute [NHGRI] (2023). Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) Assessment Landscape; and 2) the Social Security Administration (2023).
